On Saturday, September 21, 2019, Peace Point Meditation held a one day retreat of Meditation and Wisdom Talk coinciding with the International Day of Peace. The theme of the retreat was “Making Peace with Yourself & Others” led by a special meditation instructor, Ven. Edward Aggasakko. Ven. Edward has led meditation classes for over ten years and is currently teaching meditation in Morgan Hill, CA.
During the wisdom talks, Ven. Edward covered several points on how to be at peace with yourself and others such as the 4 ways to let go (AVOID, ADAPT, ALTER, and ACCEPT). The retreat also included guided group meditation, walking meditation, sharing of meditation experiences, and other mindfulness activities.
